REPORT ON IMMIGRANT EXCLUSION FROM FEDERAL COVID-19 RELIEF PROGRAMS

New Mexico Voices for Children worked with Somos Un Pueblo Unido and other immigrants’ rights groups to publish a report on the impact of COVID-19 on immigrant workers and families in our state.  “Essential but Excluded” highlights the contributions immigrants make to New Mexico and underscores how federal relief programs have bypassed our families, shortchanging local communities and hurting local economic recovery efforts. It also contains our state and federal policy recommendations.
